Alhmdolilah Madrasa Khazra opened its doors to students in May 2009. The first batch of students were boys of age between 5 years and 15 years. A month later, new classes were added, thus bringing the capacity of Madrasa to 170 students, including boys and girls.
The students are taken in from 4 years of age and are started on the Arabic Alphabet first. From there, they move on the Quran. Alongside learning the Quran, they are also introduced to daily essential Duas in the life of a Muslim, prayer methods including Wadu, etc, The idea is to teach children how to live a life as a Practising Muslim by equipping them with all the necessary foundation knowledge. Once, the children finish the basic course of
studies then they have two options; either to pursue the memorization of the Holy Quran or do a course in Islamic Scholarship/Islamic Jurisprudence.
